Marine Wildlife sculpture by Nicolas Pain Nicolas Pain is a keen Scuba diver and his work is inspired by, and celebrates the marine wildlife that he encounters whilst diving. Much of Nicolas' work is concerned with capturing the movement of underwater creatures within their near weightless environment. The precise balancing of the components of the sculptures is a signature of his work. All of the sculpture is foundry cast bronze and patinated by hand using traditional methods. The patination is always a little different, giving each piece uniqueness. Nicks initials and the edition number is stamped on the piece. They are supplied in a wooden box made from repurposed wine bottle cases.
