Alanda was a realist wildlife artist for over 20 years before changing direction into the semi-abstract work she produces now. Her work goes beyond mere representation of the physical appearance of animals but also incorporates their spirit and energy.
Alanda now explores the realm of
semi-abstract art where she can express the essence of wildlife through vibrant colours, and unconventional techniques.
Working in mixed media Alanda combines various materials such as acrylics, oil pastels, and ink to create textured and layered artworks that bring nature to life in unexpected ways.
Alanda’s artwork has been in many solo shows and is in collections across the UK,US, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
