Adam John Binder was born in 1970 and grew up in the picturesque surroundings of the Cotswolds where he continues to live today. It is a place he holds dear, as it was growing up in this idyllic environment that awakened his sense to the beauty and wonder of the natural world, which has been the inspiration for his art for the last 20 years.
Adam’s first venture followed his initial interest of ceramics, spending four years running a successful business producing ceramic kitchen and giftware. Adam then took up a position as an independent commercial sculptor working primarily for the giftware trade, and then as master carver for a Collectables Company.
In 2001 Adam started working on his own creations for Adam Binder Editions and developed his own series of miniature carvings inspired by his personal loves and observations; gaining a strong following worldwide, it did not take long for Adam Binder Editions to establish itself as one of the leading internationals collectable companies.
In 2006, Adam was finally in a position to embark on his life-long dream of sculpting more exclusive wildlife Bronzes. Since this time, Adam’s sculptures have been accepted into numerous exhibitions around the country. Adam won the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year in 2010 with his sculpture ‘Sinking Feeling’, he also won the 3D category in 2011 fo his ‘Leopard and Tortoise’ sculpture and was made a Full Member of the Society of Wildlife Artists in the same year,
